There are many exciting cultural events happening in San Francisco over Memorial Day weekend! However, this makes transportation more than a little challenging. To make sure you can easily get to Des Voix…Found in Translation, we highly recommend taking public transportation.
On May 26th and 27th, the San Francisco Carnaval Celebration will be happening just a few short blocks from Z Space. With the theme of “Bridging Cultures” this is the perfect place to visit before or after one of our events—with international music, food, and goods for sale. Arrive early to Des Voix…and don’t miss it!
Because of the Carnaval Celebration, Harrison street will be closed from 16th Street to 24th Street. Please plan your transportation accordingly! Check 511.org and SF MTA for the latest updates on street closures around San Francisco.
From BART:
Z Space is a short 12 minute walk from 16th and Mission (0.6 miles).
From MUNI:
For those who prefer to take a MUNI bus from the BART station, take either the 22 outbound (towards Portrero Hill) or the 33 outbound (towards Portrero Hill) and get off at 16th street and Bryant. MUNI fare is $2 for Adults and $0.75 for Seniors and Youth. Plan your custom trip through public transportaion here!
Limited Parking:
We also have limited, free, reserved parking available at the parking lot on 15th Street and Kansas. These spots are available on a first come first serve basis, and the lot is about a 10 minute walk from Z Space.
